PGA State Manager for Queensland Broc Greenhalgh has praised the preparation of the Glenviews Par 3 course for the charity Pro Am played there on Thursday.
He described the course as “a real golfers golf course.”
“The PGA plays numerous par 3 tournaments around Australia, but this one’s quite unique,” he said.
“Normally we play them in quite of a pitch and put type atmosphere.
“But on every single hole here, you’ve got an entirely full shot and I think the guys were hitting up to four irons on some of the holes out there today.
“So it’s not necessarily just a golf course that anyone can play who’s just coming to the game of golf.
“It’s a real golfers golf course as well.”
