The Australia Cup preliminaries kick off this weekend with a number of Sunny Coast sides in action.
At Yandina Saturday, NYU host Toowoomba’s St Albans.
“We don’t really know a great deal about them,, NYU coach Trent Kelly said.
“but they’ll be tough.
“We’ll play at home, which is a good advantage for us.
“And then if we win that,we’ll get another home game too against potentially Annesley or there’s another Brissy side too.
“So we’re just building everything’s training is building for that first cup game.
“And then ideally win that, get the second cup game and then we go first round of the league.”
Woombye host AC Carina at the Snake Pit while Beereah Glasshouse play Palm Beach SC, both on Saturday.
