Caloundra sit second on the FQPL 2 ladder after a fiercely contested round 3 match against Pine Hills at home Sunday night. They won the match 5–2.
“We got three points and a win’s a win,” said Caloundra captain Kaine Frew.
“We’ve obviously had to make a couple of changes this week at the back.
“Big Ethan’s injured, so made a couple of changes, but the boys that come in did a good job.
“5–2 win. Yeah, look, on paper, it looks good.
“I think we can definitely improve for next week. I think we’re leaking too many easy goals, so that’s something we need to work on.”
Their next game is at home against Mitchelton on Saturday.
