Noosa go into season 2026 as reigning A grade Rugby Union premiers. They come up against the team they beat in the grand final, Uni, in round 1.
“We’ve just finished up 10 weeks of preseason so the boys are tracking really well,” said Noosa coach Ben MacDougall.
“[The season] will be battle of the fittest. Who can keep their best team on the field at the right end of the season.
“I certainly feel like we’ve got the depth.”
Noosa had all three senior teams in their respective grand finals in 2025. A grade defeated University and the women’s side defeated Caboolture.
“That’s always the goal isn’t it. I think reserve grade lost the last two on the trot. We’ve certainly spoken about that. This year is going to be a lot of those younger guys and local juniors that play in that squad, they certainly want to win that GF this year.”
